Want to make more money?

Like, make money when you are sleeping, type of money?

Like, make easy money with very little effort, type of making money?

Well then... there are quite a few options that you may be interested in here... everything from different ways to legitimately make money online as your own boss, working online for a company, selling things that are laying around the house, etc.

Make Money Online

Full-time income potential..

If you are looking for a way to make money online that has plenty of income potential, enough to possibly replace a current job, then here are a few good options you have...

1) Blogging (this is what I do)

Blogging is a great way to make money online. Which this path you can work for yourself, set your own schedule, and there are lots of different ways you can monetize a blog (affiliate marketing, advertising, selling ebooks, etc).

A lot of people have the misconception that you need to be an expert in something in order to write about it online - wrong! This is definitely not true and I know from my own experience. Another misconception is that it is difficult to run your own website - also wrong! Building and working on personal websites is easier than ever nowadays.

I've been blogging since 2015 and know how much income potential this has.... If interested in getting started I highly recommend the Wealthy Affiliate training program, which will give you all step-by-step training and tools needed to get started.

2) Affiliate marketing

Affiliate marketing is when you promote other people's products online and earn commissions when you help make sales. This is particularly a great way for beginners to get started because it doesn't involve selling your own products... all you do is promote products that are already proven to sell and earn when you help make sales.

Affiliate marketing can be done in many different ways: you could promote products on social media and forums, but having your own website (blog) is best way to go about it. As mentioned above, one of the best ways to monetize a blog is through affiliate marketing. And once again I would recommend taking a look at Wealthy Affiliate if you want to follow a proven training program that can help you do this the right way.

3) Teaching ESL online

If you are looking for an online job where you work for a company (instead of for yourself like those mentioned above) then ESL teaching is a good choice to consider. But of course you are going to have to have the want to work mostly with children.

Teaching ESL online is when you teach English to people in foreign countries. Most of the companies you can work for cater to Asian countries like China and Japan.

With some of these opportunities you can make over $20/hr which is pretty darn good.

Here is a list of 15 ESL teaching jobs.

4) Ecommerce (via dropshipping)

Another option you have if you are looking to be your own boss and cut your own path is ecommerce, and more specifically via dropshipping. This is when you create your own ecommerce website, such as with Shopify, and sell products yourself. You will handle customer payments and all of that. However, you don't keep any inventory and have products shipped directly from the manufacturer after someone buys.

I dabbled in dropshipping for some 2 years and had one point where I was decently successful, making over $100 in profit per day. It was okay, but I had to give it up once I found out I was selling a counterfeit product from China.

But that is just my story. I would say that it is more difficult than affiliate marketing without a doubt but it is still a good way to make money online with plenty of potential.

Decent extra income opportunities..

Looking for some extra income in your spare time?...

5) Usability testing

Usability testing is good if you are looking for some extra income and still want to be compensated decently for your time. What you would be doing is navigating around websites/apps and testing things out to make sure everything is working okay. You don't need any experience usually and the pay is pretty good. A lot of companies that hire testers pay around $10 for a 20 minute test... not too shabby.

The downside is that there aren't unlimited tests that you can take... which is why this is best looked at as a way to supplement your income.

Easy pocket change earners..

6) Paid surveys

I almost never recommend taking paid surveys online because I see them largely being a waste of time. However, they do have their place and if you are looking for an incredibly easy way to make some extra pocket change then they are worth considering.

Usually you are only looking at making $0.25 - $2.00 per survey and it can be a frustrating experience trying to qualify for surveys in the first place, but it is what it is.

Swagbucks and PaidViewPoint are good paid survey sites if you are interested.

7) Get paid to click

PTC sites are even worse of a choice than paid survey sites in my opinion, but they are still a choice. basically what you do here is click on ads and get paid for it. Usually the pay is less than one cent for each click so it can really take a while to add up, not to mention it is incredibly repetitive and boring.

Clixten is one of the more popular of these sites.

Apps That Pay You

8) Apps that pay you to download apps

Did you know that you can get paid to download apps? It's true. I know it sounds a bit fishy but there are apps that will pay you to download other apps. Basically how it works is they get paid to advertise apps and pay people as incentive to download and use them.

Here are 13 apps that do this. Just don't expect to make much.

9) Get cashback for the shopping you already do

And then there is cashback shopping. Everyone should be using a cashback app. I mean why not? You are already shopping... so why not get a little reward back for the money you spend?

Ibotta is a good app for this.

10) Apps that save you money on gas

There are even apps like GetUpside that give you cashback on gas. This is something that I think we can all use. Some people will tell you that gas is the cheapest thing you put into your vehicle, but still... it can be so darn expensive.

Get Paid to Clean House

There are also a number of ways you can cash in when cleaning your house or apt. Decluttering can be a good and easy way to make some money. Some ways you can earn like this include...

11) Sell your old clothing

Got old clothes that you don't want? Or maybe even new clothes that you know you will never wear? There are plenty of ways to sell used clothing online. threadUP, Tradesy and Poshmark are good places to use for this. And of course you could always try auction sites like eBay.

12) Sell those Christmas gift cards

Most people seem to have gift cards taking up space in their purses or wallets that serve no purpose. If you aren't going to use a gift card why not sell it and get some money? Here are a number of ways to sell gift cards online.

13) Get paid for DVDs you no longer watch

With Netflix and Hulu, DVDs are pretty much a thing of the past. So get rid of them and make some money while you are at it! There are a number of ways to sell DVDs online. There are even places that solely exist to buy DVDs and CDs from people and then resell them.

14) Got a coin collection? You can sell it easily online

If you are a coin collector then you may have quite the pile of valuables sitting around. Coins are great because they often keep good value, many increasing with age.

Now I don't know why you might want to sell your coins... but if you do there are a number of ways to go about it. You can read more here.
