Is The Ecom Formula a Scam? – What You Should Know!

is THE ECOM FORMULA a scamPeople claim that they are making thousands of dollars a day with The Ecom Formula, but is this really true? Or is it possible that The Ecom Formula is a scam that is going to be a waste of your time?

These are both important questions that need to be answered before buying into something like this. It can be difficult knowing what to trust in what not to trust in the online world with all the scams going around. Fortunately for you, you went with your gut instinct. The reason I am saying you are fortunate is because this “system”, program, or whatever you want to call it, is not nearly as good as it is claimed to be. In this review I’ll be going over some of the misleading information and lies, as well as what you actually get if you do buy this product.

The Ecom Formula Review

Right off the bat when I got to the video presentation for The Ecom Formula it seemed like a scam to me. It seemed like your typical “get-rich-quick” scam, similar to Affiliate Millionaire Club & Quick Cash Method, that lures people in by telling them about the super easy money that they can make with their system, which of course never really works out that great.

At the beginning of the video presentation the spokesperson started talking about these people have been using the system and supposedly are making thousands of dollars per day, such as Margaret who has made $42,703.96 in a month.

I was suspicious of these extremely high income claim so I decided to take a screenshot of “Margaret” and do a reverse Google image search. Sure enough, this same image has been used all over the place online, mainly for other “make money online” products, such as a scam called Crypto Prophecy.

And then there was another person that was shown in the video presentation named “Peter” from Australia is supposedly made $1,287,394.18 using this method. I did the same thing here… Did a reverse Google image search in actually found that “Peter” here is not actually Peter. The image shown is a stock photo that anyone can purchase online and use as they wish.

And the fake testimonials and user reviews continue on and on. During the video presentation there are also more convincing video testimonials, such as the one below. This guy claims that this is “not a joke” and that he makes an average of $1800 every day online with it.

However, this of course is as fake as can be as well. I recognize this guy right away because I have seen his testimony videos for other scam products that I have reviewed. This guy is actually a paid after that anyone can hire on the website Fiverr, which is a digital freelance marketplace. Below you can see a screenshot from the video presentation along with a screenshot I took of in advertisement for one of his gigs on Fiverr…

And there others too. Literally all of the testimonials that were presented in the video presentation for The Ecom Formula are fake. This is obviously a major red flag and a common characteristic of a scam. If this program really were as amazing as they claim it is, then why can they not find real users to review it? It should be pretty simple to do this if it really is changing people’s lives for the better.

But of course… This program is nowhere near as good as they claim it is and the only real testimonials they would be able to get would be from people calling it a junk program, or maybe a scam.

Neil Atkinson… The Man, The Myth, The Legend

Neil Atkinson is supposedly the man behind it all. He claims to have made over $2 million last year with the system and says that he could’ve earned much more if he wasn’t so “lazy”. In supposedly some of his friends have been making much more than that.

One day he even claims to have made over $11,000…

Unfortunately Mr. Neil here is likely a made up character. He likely does not exist. Why do I say this? Well because the image that was shown in the video presentation of him and his wife is also a fake and it is very common to see programs like this that are said to be created by people who don’t actually exist.

If you’re going to sell a program that is a scam, or just not worth the money, then of course you do not want to put your face on it. People are going to be upset and you don’t want to face the consequences, which is why Neil here is likely a fake.

What Exactly Is The Ecom Formula?

As I expected judging from the name “Ecom”, The Ecom Formula is focused on e-commerce, which Neil claims to be the “hottest” opportunity online right now. Now there is no doubt that tons of money can be made in e-commerce and this is something that you can successfully do as an individual with just a laptop and Internet connection, but is The Ecom Formula really going to get you to the point where you are successful in e-commerce in making good money?

The answer to that question is absolutely not. You sure as heck are not going to be making thousands of dollars per day after buying this program and going through everything.

What It Includes

The program includes a collection of training for building an Ecom store. Once you buy in for $37 you will get access to videos and PDF files that you will have to download. There are four PDFs and 9 videos. This training covers topics like…

  • Creating your ecom store
  • Store design
  • Generating more sales
  • Marketing your store
  • Product pricing

Is the training any good? The answer is no, not really. Sure it does provide some good information but it does not provide very much of it and doesn’t provide much detail on many very important aspects. If you think that a couple PDFs and some short training videos are going to get you to $40,000 plus per month, then you are really getting yourself.

This is a cheap program just as I had expected. But I guess you can limit on the bright side, at least you are getting something for your money. It is not a complete scam.

Final Thoughts

As I had assumed from the beginning, this is your pretty typical get-rich-quick scheme. The creators behind this lure people in with the hopes and dreams of being able to make tons of easy money online, and then sell a cheap program that is not going to get anyone even close to that goal.

They say it’s wrong to assume, but sometimes assuming is the right way to go. In this case assuming worked out great.

What’s going to happen if you buy into this is you will also be hit with a bunch of up sells, which is normally how crap programs like this work. The $37 is just the upfront cost. After paying that they will then push you to buy into a bunch of other products that will supposedly get you to the end goal of making thousands of dollars per day, which also likely won’t work.

Is The Ecom Formula a scam? The answer to this would depend on what your definition of a scam is. They do provide you with some training which does have some value, so I guess you could say that is not a complete scam. But you definitely could say it is a scam in the way they mislead people and lure them into buying the program. They do so in a very unethical and deceitful fashion. Anyone who does actually buy into this after watching the video presentation is likely going to be very disappointed once they waste a bunch of time, find out that they have to buy into a bunch of up sells, and all that still doesn’t work.

So in conclusion here, I definitely will not be recommending this program. You are more than welcome to buy into it if you want to tried and tested out, but I can tell you that it is not going to work out well.

My Recommendation

If you are a beginner looking for ways to make money online then there isn’t a much better place to start than Wealthy Affiliate. Wealthy Affiliate is a training program that provides both the tools in the training for making money online. This is the training program that I actually got started with way back in 2015 when I first started looking for ways to make money online.

To make a long story short, I now make a living working online and am still a member of the program, which goes to show how much I like it and that it does actually work. But anyways… If you want to learn more you can click the link below to read my review…
