- Name – Survey Savvy
- Website – surveysavvy.com
- Rating – 4.5/10 (It pays well compared to most survey sites, but its still nothing much)
Survey Savvy is yet another “get paid to” website where you can share your opinion and get paid. But this site is a bit different from others. In this review I’ll be going over how you can earn, how much you can earn, and of course whether I think is a scam or not.
How you get paid
The process is simple. Companies from all over pay Survey Saavy to do market research for them. The research they do is in the way of getting peoples opinions. And in this case, they get people to take surveys and pay them a small amount to do so.
AND… Survey Savvy also has another feature to make money off of
This is a behavioral research application that they developed to better understand the market. Its something that you install (if you want of course) and it tracks what you do online.
At least thats what they say on surveysavvy.com
Being able to track your every move online is what every market researcher wants. They can find out SO much just from this, with people going online to find just about any information they want nowadays.
The good part about Savvy Connect is that you earn up to $60 for installing it and allowing them to track what you do! But you have to keep the app for at least 90 days to get the money.
The thing is great about this is that you don’t have to go out of your way to do anything. Just install the app and get paid. But I can understand how many people would be against this as it breaches their privacy.
Making money taking surveys
Survey Savvy pays more for surveys than many others, its not too bad. You can generally expect to earn anywhere from $1 – 5 per survey. And thats for around 10 – 25 minutes of your time.
But this is just speaking in general. There are surveys that will pay A LOT more than that and there are also ones that will take A LOT longer than that. There is no fixed amount that you get paid per minute or anything like that.
Refer people and make more money
Survey Savvy’s referral program is actually pretty good. You can make money by referring people in 2 ways:
- when they sign up for Savvy Connect
- or when they complete surveys
If you want to make the most money possible then you probably want to focus on getting people to sign up for Savvy Connect. You can make up to $15 per referral who successfully completes a Savvy Connect project.
The amount you can make from referrals taking surveys is minimal. It ranges but generally you can expect to make about $0.50 per survey that a referral completes.
The only problem with the whole referral thing is, How are you going to do it?
Tweeting some links isn’t going to do you any good, unless you have an account with a couple hundred thousand followers.
The best way to do this would be to create your own website, drive traffic to it, and get the traffic to click your referral link. But thats not as easy as it sounds.
The downside to Survey Savvy
Lack of surveys
This is one of the most common complaints I see and there could be many reasons for this.
First off, make sure you complete your profile setup. During the initial setup they ask you a bunch of questions about, employment, shopping, etc. This gives them a better idea of what surveys you will qualify for.
- Note – If you did all of this and still aren’t getting enough surveys, spice up your profile a little more. Add more things and this will give you a better chance.
Also, it seems that where you live has a lot to do with qualifications. If you live in the US you probably have the best chances of qualifying.
Many surveys will disqualify you after you have already started
Theres not much that makes me more mad on survey sites than this. Spending time working on a survey and finding out that you don’t qualify!
This is a common problem with all survey sites I’ve come across. I guess theres nothing you can do about it though.
Its a good reason to answer your profile questions truthfully. Because if you don’t, they will send surveys your way that they “think” you qualify for, but really you don’t and you will be rejected.
Is Survey Savvy Legit? And is it worth trying?
Yes it is definitely a legitimate paid survey site and I rate it better than most others that I have reviewed. Why? Because it pays slightly better.
As with every survey site, its hard to make much of any money. There just aren’t enough surveys to take, although I said this site pays slightly better its still barely anything.
Do I think its worth trying? Well if you enjoy taking surveys and earning a few extra bucks here and there then I do suggest this site.
But if you are looking to make a good amount of money and make a steady income online I suggest you take a look at my number 1 recommendation for making money online.
