Is The Money Academy a Scam – What You Need To Know

By Kyle / March 15, 2017

If you are looking to earn money online you might have come across The Money Academy. But should you trust this place? Is The Money Academy a scam? Or is this possibly one of the most amazing opportunities to make money online?

Spoiler Alert: What they tell you isn’t all true. They provide you with some very misleading information on this program along with some blatant lies. This is all done to try to sell you on the program.

I have reviewed The Money Academy thoroughly and have written a short review that will go over a few things that you need to know about it. So if you were thinking about buying into it, you should definitely read this first.

The Money Academy scamThe Money Academy Review

  • Name: The Money Academy
  • Website: themoneyacademy.org
  • Creator: Sam Marks
  • Price: $49
  • Rating: Revealed at the end

The Money Academy sales video throws you a pretty strong sales pitch that is very enticing.

Not only does Sam (the guy talking) talk all about the huge sums of money you will be making and the luxurious lifestyle you can live, but he also says that he personally guarantees to give you $500 if you don’t make any money with this program.

Who wouldn’t want to join this program right? I mean you can get $5,500 checks in the mail each week without lifting a finger, so he says. It sounds like the easiest way to get rich that there has ever been..

Unfortunately, as you are probably already thinking, this is too good to be true and I will tell you the truth of it all.

What Is The Money Academy Really? The Truth

The Money Academy is just a way to get you to sign up for a program called MOBE, or My Own Business Education.

How do I know this? First of all, I am very familiar with MOBE because I have written other reviews of programs that refer people to buy into it. But I found out for certain when I clicked on the “disclosure” button at the bottom of The Money Academy’s sales page.

When you click on this button it will take you straight to MOBE’s disclosure page.

What Is MOBE?

MOBE, which also goes by the name MTTB (My Top Tier Business) is an internet marketing training program. They provide a 21 step training program to get you making money online along with a lot more training and tools.

MOBE itself is not a scam. But what is a scam is when people like “Sam” promote MOBE as some incredible system that is going to make you thousands each week when you sit back and do nothing at all.

There are a lot of people that use scam tactics to promote MOBE. In fact, I just reviewed a program called Online Profits Breakthrough that is a scam MOBE promotion site. So beware of that too.

Just like most legitimate ways to make money, its going to take time and work to get to the point when you are earning good money. Most people give up way before they ever make money with MOBE.

The Lies They Told You

As I said, what they tell you is very misleading and a lot of it is just a bunch of lies.

Fortune 500 Company? = LIE

MOBE is no fortune 500 company like Sam has told you over and over again. This is just a trick to try to make this opportunity seem more credible than it really is.

Personal Mentor To Help Make You Money? = Misleading

When you sign up with MOBE you do so through a MOBE affiliate. In this case the affiliate is “Sam” (probably not a real name). So Sam is going to be your “mentor”. But what Sam is more than likely going to do is try to sell you on other MOBE products so that he can earn more commission off of you.

Because yes, Sam earns money when you sign up through him.

Professional Sales Team That Closes Sales For You? = Misleading

Basically what he means here is that when you refer people to MOBE, it will be up to MOBE’s sales pitch to get them to buy into it. If the person likes what they see at MOBE, they will buy and if they don’t, they won’t. But after you refer them your job is done.

Checks Of Up To $5,500 Every Week? = Very Misleading

Its true that you can earn $5,500 commissions by referring people to buy MOBE products. MOBE has some seriously high priced products, which range up to $29,997. If you can sell people on these you make big commissions.

But this is extremely difficult to do and there is no way in hell a newbie has a chance of doing this every week, or even anything relatively close to that.

The Truth Behind The Lies

The truth is that Sam wants nothing more than to make money off of you. MOBE has a very lucrative commission structure and this leads to a lot of people going out and scamming other people to buy into it.

It has a MLM (multi-level marketing) structure. This means you get money from your referrals, and their referrals, and so on.

Sam will get paid when you sign up, and then he will get paid from your referrals. He will also get paid from from the upsells that he gets you to buy into.

Yes, there are upsells, and this is where the real money comes in. You aren’t told about the upsells when you join. But after joining your “personal mentor” will try to get you to buy into them so he/she can make more money.

Rating & Final Thoughts

This is difficult to rate because, while MOBE is not a scam in itself, but The Money Academy is a scam without a doubt. The Money Academy fills you up with all the fairy tale lies that you want to hear just to try to get you to buy into MOBE. All they are looking for is money.

When you join you are going to be harassed by your personal mentor to buy into upsells and to recruit more people to join. I am saying this because from the looks of Sam and all the lies he just told you on The Money Academy sales video, he is not someone you can trust. He seems like a snake that is just trying to make a quick buck off of you.

Can you make money with MOBE? Yes

Will you make money with MOBE? Probably not, especially if you go into it with the expectations of earning $5,500 every month like Sam tells you. The truth is that most people will fail with this MOBE promotion system and Sam knows darn well that no newbie can expect to earn anywhere close to $5,500 a week.

Here Is What I Suggest

If you are looking for a more legitimate way to make money online then I suggest you consider Wealthy Affiliate. They have been around since 2005 and have a very good reputation. They provide a free membership (for life) that gives you free tools and resources, such as training and 2 free websites.
