Is Nicequest a Scam? A Few Things To Know

If you are looking to earn rewards for taking simple online surveys then NiceQuest is one of the options that you have. But should you join this place or is NiceQuest a scam that is going to be nothing more than a waste of your time?

I looked into this place and I can assure you that it is not a scam. You can actually earn a variety of rewards for completing the online surveys they offer. In this short review I’ll be going over what you need to know about this place.. how it works, the rewards they offer, and ultimately whether or not I think its worth your time.

nicequestNiceQuest Review

  • Website:
  • Type: Paid survey site
  • Cost to Join: Free
  • Rewards: Physical products and gift cards
  • Recommended?: Yes; but not for everyone

NiceQuest is a survey panel that conducts market research for companies that are looking to improve their products and services. They get paid money to conduct the research, which is done by providing surveys, and they pay people like you and I with rewards as an incentive to take the surveys.

Overall I do like NiceQuest and would rank it near the top of my list when it comes to paid survey panels like this. And believe me, I have reviewed dozens upon dozens of these places so that is saying a lot.

How It Works

The only way to join NiceQuest is by invitation. Its not like you can go to their website and sign up. Joining is simple and free. You will fill out a some personal information and take a profile survey.

Note: Make sure you fill out this information correctly because they will use this to match you up with appropriate surveys. If you do not you will end up getting irrelevant surveys and will likely get disqualified often.

You can participate in surveys on your desktop computer or on your mobile device. They have an app available on both the App Store and Google Play. When a survey is available to you, you will be notified with an email or with a notification on the app.

Once you complete a survey you will get what they call “Caracolas”, which are just their name for points basically. After you get enough points racked up you will be able to redeem them for a range of rewards.

What Rewards Can You Get?

What makes NiceQuest unique from other paid survey sites is the rewards that they offer. You don’t see many places offering physical rewards like this and honestly.. I like this rewards system.

They offer an insane amount of physical products and just to give you an idea I’ll list a few of the things you can expect…

  • Laptops
  • Tablets
  • Xbox games
  • Phone cases
  • Camcorders
  • Children’s toys
  • Sports fan gear
  • and a heck of a lot more

In addition to all of these products you can also choose to redeem your points for gift cards to places like Amazon, CVS, Nike, Walmart, etc.

Oh and by the way, they do have free shipping for the gifts that they will send you, that is definitely something to note.

The Point System

Each point that you earn is worth roughly 10 cents, usually a little less. But this varies with the gifts that you can redeem your points for.

As you can see below the Amazon, Walmart and CVS gift cards all go for 110 points and are worth $10. If you do the math you will find that each point is worth $0.09 with these examples…

But it all depends on the gift. Generally you can expect each point to be worth around a 10 cents though.

Lack of Opportunity

The overall lack of opportunity that is offered is by far my number 1 complaint as well as many others. There just aren’t enough chances for you to earn points and to get rewards. Taking surveys is the only way offered to earn and there is a massive lack of surveys. It is not uncommon for people to only get 1 survey in an entire month and generally you can expect to get 1-3/mo.

The amount of surveys you get also depends on your demographic. Some people are just going to receive more offers than others based on market demand.

Disqualified From Surveys

Just because you get a survey offer doesn’t mean you are fully qualified to take it. They pre-qualify you based on your profile information but there is always the chance you will start taking the survey and get disqualified during it. This is why I said it is very important to accurately fill out your profile information. This way they send you more relevant surveys.

Final Thoughts & What I Recommend

Ok, so NiceQuest is not a scam. It is a legitimate way to earn rewards by taking surveys online. And I do like what they bring to the table. The rewards they offer are by far my favorite thing about this place and my least favorite thing is by far the lack of surveys that they provide.

Overall, I would recommend NiceQuest to the select few people that are not looking to earn fast. This is a place where it will take you a while to rack up enough points to be able to earn rewards. So if you are not patient then this just isn’t for you.

SwagBucks still ranks #1 when it comes to paid survey sites because they have a heck of a lot of opportunity and ways to earn.

However, I don’t particularly recommend any paid survey site. Why? Because there are better ways to make money online with your spare time.

I actually make a living working online and I sure as heck am not going around taking paid surveys. I have written a post on what I do to make money online, how it all works, and how others can do the same. You can click the link below to read about it if you want to.
