Is List Leverage a Scam? – It Certainly Won’t Work Out Well

List Leverage scam

List Leverage it is said to be this amazing automated system that can build you a free viral email list on autopilot, which you can then use to make money with. But is this really as amazing as it seems? The answer is NO. Is List Leverage a scam? I wouldn’t call it a complete scam, but I will say that it is definitely something I would recommend against buying into.

In this review I will be going over what you need to know about the system before hand. The information given out in the sales pitch is incredibly misleading and lead you to believe that this is the greatest opportunity that exists out there, when this is far from the reality.

List Leverage Review

List Leverage is the creation of Matthew Neer, who I am very familiar with. I’ve reviewed some of his creations in the past, such as Viral Money Method and Niche Moolah.

The sales pitch is that if you join the system for free you get his secret website and can use it to build a giant email list, all on autopilot. According to the video presentation, it works in three simple steps…

It is just as simple as that? Just write an email, send the email, and get paid? Sounds like this might be a little bit too good to be true doesn’t not? I’m guessing you feel the same way. After all, you did take the time to do a little bit of extra research and are now reading my review here.

In the video presentation Matthew goes on to talk about the obvious question… “Why isn’t everyone doing this?”. If it really it is this easy why don’t you see everyone out there making money doing this?

Well the problem is that you need a list to make money doing this. And how are you going to get an email list? You are going to have to attract subscribers to a squeeze page where you will capture the email address. Sounds simple, but it is easier said than done. First off, you’re going to need to use some sort of service to create your squeeze page and, second off, you are going to need to know how to attract subscribers, which isn’t as easy as you may think. People don’t just go around entering their email addresses and everything nowadays. Ms. people are well aware of potential online scams and are more cautious than they maybe used to be years ago

but anyways, Matthew claims that the reason not everyone is doing this is because people don’t have the technological know-how. They don’t know how to create a squeeze page, get traffic, and lure people in with free offers. And of course his amazing new system is going to do all of this for people.

While it is true to some extent that a bigger reason people aren’t doing things like this is because of the technology barrier, I would say the main reason why everyone isn’t using this is because it simply does not work out like Matthew leads you to believe it does.

Below I will go over how this system works and then after that I will be going over why it will not work out as planned.

How It Works

The first step obviously is to create your account. After creating your account you will be subscribed automatically to six different newsletters. You can unsubscribe to any of these if you want to, but automatically you will be subscribed to them.

Then, you will get your free website which is a duplicate of the one you landed on. You know, the the same exact one that you landed on that greeted you with a video presentation and lured you into signing up…

After that the goal is to recruit others into the system. You will be promoting List Leverage two other people and when they join the system they will be added to your email list.

The way it works is like this:

When you promote List Leverage and get people to join, they also are subscribed automatically to six different email lists. The email list in the sixth position is going to be yours. So everyone that you get to join List Leverage is automatically subscribed to your list. Then, when they go out and promote List Leverage to other people those people will also be added to your list. Except this time you are list will be in the fifth position. And when those people then got and promote the system the new recruits will also be added to your list, and of course this time your list will be in the fourth position. And so on…

So pretty much the more people you recruit in the higher up on the list you will go. It is hard to know the exact structure of how this all works, but it seems to be a simple six level pyramid structure.

It is basically a big recruitment scheme that gets people to join in then recruit others in with the goal of getting a big email list, which isn’t going to do much good anyhow. Yes, you definitely can grow eBay email list with the system, but is it really worth it? Probably not, as you will see…

Why This Won’t Work Out As Planned

Okay… So the entire goal here is still but a big email list and to make money off that list. You want to have a big email list so that you can send out emails promoting various products and make money off of that list. However, this isn’t going to work out as planned.

Why won’t this work out?

Well, just think about it. The people that are on your list are not there because they want to be there. The only reason they are on your list is because they were added to it automatically through this pyramid -like list building system. Because of this, you are going to have a massive unsubscribe rate. When you actually start using your list in promoting products to them, they are going to be unsubscribing left and right.

Email marketing is a big part of online business. Having a big email list is easily one of the best ways to make money online, but getting that big email list is the hard part. In this List Leverage system is certainly not the answer. All it does is gets you a big email list of untargeted people who do not subscribe to your list on their own.

Who Gets Rich Off Of This

Matthew Neer it is well known for systems like this. He lures people in by making them believe that he is giving them access to some amazing system that they are going to get rich off of, but really he is the one that is going to get rich off of it. Furthermore, he sets up the system and gives them incentive to recruit others in so that the members do all the work of getting more people to join.

As stated in the video presentation, List Leverage is 100% free. However, there is a massive upsell after you sign up and create your free account.

After creating your free account you are directed to another video presentation about how growing your email list is going to be difficult and why you should pay Matthew and his team to do it for you. The service he is referring you to is called VIP Syndicate and it costs $497 as you can see below…

Final Thoughts – Scam?

So is List Leverage a scam? I would like your opinion on this. What do you think?

I guess I wouldn’t call it a complete scam, but I would say that the marketing material used to lure people into the system is extremely misleading and “scammy”. The bottom line is that this is just another overhyped Internet marketing system that is not going to work out like you are told. Anyone who joins is likely going to be very disappointed with the results for the reasons I discussed above.

If you look at any successful online marketer that makes good use of an email list you will find that they definitely did not use any system like this to build their list up. This is just another system for those always looking for the easy way out, always looking for the shortcut way to do things. Unfortunately, you can’t always take shortcuts because you are just cutting yourself short sometimes.

If you want to build a big email list that is actually good, you have to do it the right way, which is by actually getting people to subscribe to your list in not by using some stupid system that automatically subscribes people to your list without them even knowing what they are being subscribed to.

So in closing, I definitely do not recommend this system. Most people that are joining are likely beginners that don’t realize Matthew is ripping people off.

My Recommendation

If you are a beginner looking to make money online, I would recommend  this program. This is where I got started back in 2015 when I first started looking for ways to make money online. To make a long story short, I now make a living working online which goes to show that the program does work.
