Mysurvey.com is a legitimate free paid survey site, but how much money can you make on Mysurvey? Is it even worth your time to sign up? In this review I’ll be going over the different ways you can make money on mysurvey.com and how much you can realistically expect to make.
Before you can start earning money on Mysurvey you will have to take a few quick surveys about you. These include a lifestyle survey, car survey, finance survey, employment survey, and maybe one more I can’t remember. But you have to complete these first so that Mysurvey knows what kind of surveys are appropriate for you.
Before you complete this initial profile step you won’t have any surveys available, but after you complete it you will be eligible to participate in some.
How much can you make taking surveys?
Honestly, in my case, barely anything. The amount of surveys you qualify for and that are posted on your account page depends on your profile. And for me for some reason I barely am given any surveys.
Not having enough surveys is the main problem by far with mysurvey.com. In fact, right now I am only given 1 survey to complete. Yes, just 1. Take a look.
As you can see I will earn 150 points for taking this 25 minute long survey. Lets pretend that I have more surveys the same as this one available so that we can see the hourly wage if I would spend an hour taking surveys.
Because these surveys are 25 minutes long, I would be able to complete 2.4 of them in 1 hour. 2.4 times 150 points = 360. So I would be earning 360 points per hour. Is that any good? Well lets see how much this is worth in terms of dollars.
How much are the points worth?
The points are redeemable PayPal cash, gift cards, subscriptions, etc. To see what the points are worth lets take a look at the plain old cash.
When I go PayPal rewards there are currently 3 offers that I have: 1200 points for $10, 1800 points for $15, and 2400 points for $20.
All of these rewards above have the same value. For each of these if you do the math 1.2 points equals out to $0.01 or 1 cent. Or you could say that 1 point = $0.008. Each point is worth less than a cent!
How much did I make in this hour of taking surveys?
I would have earned 360 points if I had taken surveys an hour straight. And since each of these points is worth less than a cent, at $0.008, I would have made 300 cents. So thats a $3.00 per hour wage.
Do you think $3.00/hr is worth your time? Neither do I.
There aren’t enough surveys available!
Like I said earlier, the amount of surveys you get depends on the questions you answered when you were setting up your profile. I barely get any surveys, but I know that there are other people that get MUCH more than I do.
Its just not worth it
Even if I did have unlimited surveys it still wouldn’t be worth it. The survey that I have available (shown above) is a typical survey. 25 minutes of your time for 150 points, thats a pretty normal payout.
$3.00/hr just isn’t for me. If you are bored and need something to do this might be an OK and easy way to maker a few extra bucks, but it won’t be much.
